A heroic week ahead for DVD releases

Iron Man 2 Blu-raySuperman/Batman:Apocalypse

Iron Man 2 comes home to DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, but the Marvel Comics icon is not the only superhero on shelves this week.

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse keeps things interesting on the DC side of the comics universe. Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy reprise their voice roles as the Man of Steel and Dark Knight from the long-running Warner cartoons, and they’re joined by Andre Braugher as the evil Darkseid and Summer Glau as a teenage Kryptonian girl who ignites a dangerous conflict that threatens to consume the Earth.

Legend of the Seeker DVD

Also on DVD this week: the second — and final — season of Legend of the Seeker, the syndicated Disney-ABC series based on the fantasy novels of Terry Goodkind.
