New Kickstarter — The Weird Accordion to Al

If you’re a fan of “Weird Al” Yankovic and love in-depth musical analysis, then have we got the Kickstarter for you! Nathan Rabin — former writer for the Onion AV Club and author of Weird Al: the Book — just launched what may prove to be the greatest treat for Al nerds yet: The Weird Accordion to Al.

Rabin has been writing fun, detailed analyses of each of Al’s individual songs at his website Nathan Rabin’s Happy Place. He’s nearing the end of Al’s discography and this project aims to populate an entire book with these song reviews. They’re worth reading numerous times, so acquiring the book is a must for any fan of Al’s extensive catalog.

The Kickstarter is already fully funded. In fact, it’s collected almost ten times its modest goal of $2,000 already. Be sure to pop over there and check it out. Rabin is a fantastic writer and will assuredly produce an excellent book.
