This Saturday, Oct. 5, is Star Wars Reads Day across this planet. Local events will be hosted at Phoenix’s Burton Barr Central Library, Bookmans in Mesa and the Apache Junction Public Library, as well as all Barnes & Noble stores. Some events will include costumed volunteers from the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, R2 Builders and other groups.
So with the vast galaxy of Far, Far Away fiction out there, it’s easy to pick up a book you’ve never read before and discover a new corner of the Expanded Universe. For my part, I’m working on Martha Wells’ Empire and Rebellion: Razor’s Edge.
