Heroes is finally out, so now we can focus on other Blizzard games for once and with MORE friends too!

While the Blizzard Release Effect starts to wear off, other games are starting to get their developers back on the ball and there are quite a few major things to talk about this week starting with the Battle.net friends list getting increased to 200 friends!  Also, we are entering prime gaming convention season so it is no surprise that over the next few weeks you can win a trip to gamescom 2015 by getting engaged with Blizzard via social media or that Heroes and SC2 will be featured at the PC Gaming Show too where there looks to be some new content announced!!  Then, keep hitting F5 on your browser to find out when the BlizzCon 2015 costume sign-ups will happen!

Diablo 3 – Does it seem like a while since the last Season ended?  Me too!  I haven’t seen any notifications about it ending, but if you haven’t hit 70 on a Seasonal character yet I would recommend you do it as soon as you can since they will probably bring the Season to a close without a whole lot of warning this time around!!  In the meantime, feast your eyes on this trip to Blizzard’s HQ which was a contest reward for one lucky artist from Russia!

HearthStone – Get ready.  No, I mean REALLLLLY ready because Blizzard is giving HearthStone a major update!  Tavern Brawl is coming which will introduce a completely different style of playing as it will be a rotating set of challenges to play against other people, INCLUDING your friends!!!  A huge flaw of the game, in my opinion, is that you can’t get credit (rewards) for playing against people in your friends list and that makes us not want to do it if there is no payoff in the end.  I think this will fix that!  Of course you need to have a level 20 hero before you can play this mode, but if you have been collecting card backs, or even a moderately casual player I am sure you will have a hero close to that level in time for the release of this patch “mid June”.  As we wait for the Brawl to start, check out a profile about PHONETAP the winner of a Legendary Series tournament and the Final Standings for May 2015 Ranked Play!  You can also check out the new Hero for Hunters, Alleria Windrunner!

Heroes of the Storm – Enjoying playing the new Blizzard game?  Having fun leveling up your character?  Thank the 50% XP bonus which is going up next week to 75%!!  Then take a look at this recap of the Mayhem Begins event to catch up with a few new things that were announced last week like the newest map and “hero” for the game!  You can even get a wallpaper for the Eternal Conflict too!  Did you miss the North American Open this weekend?  You are in luck then because the Finals are next week!  Oh, did I mention the bigger than normal Weekly Sale yet or how you can get a free Funko Mystery Mini with an order over $75 from the Blizzard Store?  What about internal Blizzard testing with artists versus developers, with the developers forced to play the unreleased heroes that are buggy and imbalanced?!

Overwatch – Looking for something new, even though Heroes was launched?  Well then, you should check out all of this content for Overwatch: unedited match with Pharah, Reinhardt, Torbjörn, Reaper, Symmetra, Tracer, Hanzo, McCree, Mercy, and Zenyatta all in 60 FPS!!  Then, we have fan art, reference kits for all heroes, and new Overwatch apparel!  Oh and the collection of characters for this game (on sale in the Blizzard Store here as an awesome poster) was selected for Into the Pixel 2015!

StarCraft 2 – Ever wanted to get into either the original SC2, or it’s expansion Heart of the Swarm, to see what all the fuss was about?  Well this sale is perfect for you since both games are 50% so JUST $9.99, until Tuesday that is.  Want to see what the game looks like?  Here are some really high-rez shots of SC2 from a person on reddit!  Into SC2 heavily, and looking forward to Legacy of the Void?  Well check out this article explaining some BIG changes coming to it seems just about every facet of the game!!  I thought their explanation and outlook for Archon mode changes was incredibly spot on!

World of Warcraft – Before you rewatch the Live Q&A with the WoW developers, make sure you have caught up on all of the other news this week like being able to fly in Draenor, what your Shipyard will look like, the new armor sets for each class, or how the Arcatraz will look with the Timewalking feature introduced!  Also, make sure that you get your last PvP games in as Warlords Season 1 is ending soon!

Twitter Question of the Week – Q:  @BlizzHeroes Any chance of letting us set a single mount for use by all characters so we don’t forget to set it for new paid/F2P characters?  A: Of course, no answer yet BUT I am taking FULL credit for the changes to Battle.net as a result of my question last week about adding community building to Heroes.  :}
