The newest Support character is coming to Heroes this week but don’t miss out on what is coming with the Legacy of the Void Collector’s Edition!

Gearing up for BlizzCon?  Find out what special deals Blizzard has shared with us!  Also, if you are going to cosplay somebody from Heroes you might want to check out these reference kits they released!!  Prepare for extended maintenance on Tuesday for all Blizzard games!

Diablo 3 – No news is good news?  Well, I did get level 70 so got the Heroes mount unlocked!!  Yay for powerleveling by friends!!

HearthStoneMinor patch notes include adding the Exodar card back to the game, while we learn that this month’s reward is the Highmaulin’ and Brawlin’ card back!  While it may not directly affect us in the Americas region, HearthStone is expanding to a Japanese localization in the Asia region which means that the popularity of the game is increasing and is a good sign for Blizzard (and those players that are enjoying the game too)!!

Heroes of the StormChanges are coming!  Death timers are being tweaked to prevent early game snowballing, but so have some hero stats to fall more in line with the roles they have been assigned in the game so your favorite hero may become more squishy in the future!  Visit the latest Brawl with the Blues to see them taking the newest hero Lt. Morales out for a spin!!  There are PLENTY of skins during the Weekly Sale so check them out, including the Murky hero!

StarCraft 2 – The Collector’s Edition of Legacy of the Void has been revealed which includes bonuses for all Blizzard games!  With Legacy releasing Patch 3.0 all users get a new user interface in the game that focuses on the social aspects of the game!  Love the lore that Blizzard puts out for their games?!  Well then dig into the first short story, Ascension, in a series of them which will end the week before the next expansion!  There were a few minor tweaks that can be found in the latest Balance Update which again have the players in a tizzy as you can see in the comments of this post!

World of Warcraft – It seemed to be a slow news week for WoW as we had Hotfixes (for some reason the URL/link keeps going to an old page right now, but maybe Blizzard will fix it by the time you view it), October events, Burning Crusade Timewalking, a poll on your favorite inn, the in-game shop has changed, and a community spotlight on an artist!

Twitter Question of the Week – Q: @StarCraft @BlizzardCS If I pre-order this from @BestBuy will I get a code so I can get the prologue missions early, or just beta access?  A: I normally get the physical copy of the Collector’s Editions, but I would like to get into the first few missions early too, so I’m pretty curious about this and hopefully on Monday I’ll get an answer to this.

Rusty Schmidt has been into gaming since the family had to get a second Atari 2600 so everybody could play at once and interested in computer gaming since playing Math Blaster and The Oregon Trail all the way back in 5th grade. Later he found the original Diablo and StarCraft games to get hooked on Blizzard games and eventually stopped playing SNES games trading them for PC games because of the online persistence of worlds like SWG and WoW. Currently a Blizzard Correspondent, he looks forward to becoming a Senior Blizzard Correspondent for Nerdvana some day.
