You’ll be able to get an early taste of the Valley’s newest gaming convention this weekend, when organizers of next year’s Vul-Con hold a preview event called “Arena I” on Saturday at Gamer’s Inn in Mesa.
If you’re into gladiatorial battles and model chariot racing, you’re in luck. If you’re not, there will be miniatures wargames, Settlers of Catan, Steve Jackson games like Munchkin, Car Wars and more. You can get more information in this post here and from the official Vul-Con blog.
Vul-Con proper, billed as “the Southwest’s Coliseum of Gaming,” is scheduled to take place Feb. 25-26 at the Phoenix Convention Center.
