Thrill HalloweenSquare Egg Entertainment is expanding fast. Just days after splitting with Keen Halloween’s owners following a partnership last year, and officially announcing both Phoenix and Minnesota Fan Fest events last week, the team behind Phoenix Comicon has been connected to Thrill Halloween, “a celebration of all things Halloween for the whole family.”

Thrill Halloween events are planned for both Phoenix on Sept. 30-Oct. 1 at the Phoenix Convention Center — the same as was set for Keen Halloween — and Fresno, Calif., Oct. 7-8.

Wednesday’s press release describes Thrill Halloween: “Thrill Halloween is a new concept event with contemporary Halloween activities, decorations, crafts, and seminars. Thrill is a one-stop adventure for Halloween enthusiasts where attendees can learn to make a haunted house, create Halloween crafts, find common and hard to find indoor and outdoor Halloween decorations, shop for the whole family, and take part in activities for all ages. Whether you are a Halloween fanatic or fan, Thrill Halloween offers something for everyone.”

On March 27, Square Egg announced that Steam Crow artists Daniel and Dawna Davis would “resume complete ownership and operation of Keen Halloween in 2017.

“Square Egg Entertainment is taking their shows in a different direction, but looks forward to the next spooky concoction from Steam Crow and Keen Halloween,” the statement read.

That same evening, Daniel Davis issued a statement of his own: “Keen Halloween, as a convention, is concluded.”
