Star Wars Battlefront II will be out Nov. 17 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This game has had more leaks than the Trump administration, but with a new gameplay trailer from EA’s E3 presentation (above), we’re seeing that in addition to bringing the prequels (Clones! “Duel of the Fates!” Darth Maul!) and The Force Awakens characters into the popular online multiplayer game, as well as the planet Crait from The Last Jedi, the sequel to 2015’s Battlefront will include a campaign mode (something its predecessor lacked, to the disappointment of many) and that campaign mode will focus on the Empire’s revenge against the Rebels following the destruction of the second Death Star at Endor. A Sentinel droid bears the late Emperor Palpatine’s visage as well as his last command for Inferno Squad: Operation Cinder, which has been a part of the larger new Star Wars canon that spans novels and comic books as well.
Star Wars Battlefront II will allow players to experience the untold story of Iden Versio, an Imperial elite special forces soldier, in an all-new single player campaign. The game will also allow players to experience epic multiplayer battles where they can pilot a First Order TIE fighter through intense dogfights in space, and play as ground troopers or iconic heroes and villains, such as Yoda and Kylo Ren, across all three Star Wars eras.
