Disney releasing Bambi on digital HD, Blu-ray, DVD with new features

Bambi is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a new edition on digital HD, Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand.

The new release, which is the first digital availability of the 1942 film, includes bonus material including recordings of Walt Disney himself discussing the challenges and triumphs of the production, deleted scenes and characters, stories and effects that the film had on the studio, other films and artists, and more.

Additionally, the digital HD Disney Movies Anywhere release includes an exclusive, heartfelt feature on artist Tyrus Wong, who inspired the film’s soft watercolor backgrounds and beautiful palette.
