Believe it or not, the brick-and-mortar video store is not dead — at least not in America’s shopping malls. Trans World Entertainment, which still owns nearly 400 stores under the F.Y.E., Suncoast and Saturday Matinee brands, plans to open an unspecified number of new mall locations in 2013, according to ICv2.
(They closed my old Suncoast at Metrocenter over a year ago, apparently, but F.Y.E. still lists two Mesa stores and one in Tempe.)
