Inconceivable! Have fun storming the castle again as The Princess Bride returns to theaters

Everyone’s favorite love story from the 1980s is making its triumphant return to cinemas nationwide next month.

The Princess Bride is a bit of a classic, starring Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Andre the Giant, Mandy Patinkin, Chris Sarandon and Wallace Shawn, with special appearances from Billy Crystal and Christopher Guest.

The movie centers around Westley (Elwes) — aka the Man in Black — and his attempt to rescue his beloved Buttercup (Wright) from the clutches of the evil Prince Humperdinck (Sarandon). It has action, adventure and comedy. Fun stuff.

The movie features several iconic scenes, including the famous line, “My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” (What’s your favorite line? Share it with us below!)

The story is based off the book The Princess Bride by William Goldman and the book itself is used as a framing device for the story. I loved this film as a kid and am planning to check it out on the big screen soon. How about you?

The Princess Bride returns to select theaters on Oct. 15 and 18. Check with your local cinema for details. More information can be found here.
