Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston star in The Switch, a modern spin on the romantic-comedy-with-a-cute-kid formula.
Kassie (Aniston) wants a baby. But When her best friend Wally (Bateman), switches her intended sperm donor sample with his own, things get complicated. Seven years later, Wally must come to grips with the fact that Kassie’s son Sebastian just might be his – and he must figure out how that will effect his future with Kassie.
Despite its predictability, The Switch works well, relying on solid acting performances and an emotional honesty often absent from this genre.
