Nerdvana’s 2017 holiday gift guide: Star Wars books edition

As the newly rebooted Expanded Universe of Star Wars books continues to grow, there have been some truly stellar releases this year. Many of them, such as Canto Bight, Leia: Princess of Alderaan, Empire’s End: Aftermath and Phasma, contain unspecified links to the upcoming movie Episode VIII — The Last Jedi. Others, like Battlefront II: Inferno Squad, flesh out the characters of the interactive side of the EU. Meanwhile, the short story anthology From a Certain Point of View celebrates the 40th anniversary of the original Episode IV — A New Hope.

Explore our coverage and reviews of these works below; in the various articles you’ll find links to purchase the books on Amazon and support Nerdvana with a small commission. (Also, going here and shopping will help to support the site.)
