The casting announcements for Star Trek: Discovery are finally starting to beam in.

Just a couple weeks after Michelle Yeoh, Doug Jones and Anthony Rapp were announced on the Federation side of things, three actors have been cast to play the first Klingons of Star Trek: Discovery that we know of.

Chris Obi plays T’Kuvma, a leader seeking to unite the Klingon houses. Shazad Latif will play his protege Kol, a commanding officer. Mary Chieffo will play battle deck commander L’Rell.

Obi has appeared in Doctor Who, State of Play, Snow White and the Huntsman and Roots.
